Under new Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005 a number of waste types have been reclassified as hazardous. This legislation, combined with the amendments to the Landfill Regulations 2002, result in new and existing hazardous waste types becoming more difficult to dispose of.

Clews Recycling Ltd holds current Waste Carriers and Operators licence for Road Transport. The company has its own technical chemist, Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA) and all drivers have received ADR training for handling dangerous goods.We arrange all the necessary documentation to ensure full compliance with the Hazardous Waste regulations (2005) and Carriage of Dangerous Goods Act.

We can arrange product destruction for retail goods that need to be rendered non-saleable prior to disposal and provide certificates of destruction.

Certain wastes can be difficult to dispose of without being classified as hazardous e.g. meat, tyres, powders, we pride ourselves on being able to arrange disposal of all wastes.
